I felt the course was very thorough and, even as someone who feels like they have owner horses for 100 years, I learned loads. We took the option of a second day dedicated to our own semi-feral ponies which were due for a trim, and to facilitate a the dissection of a lower limb having been given a set by our local slaughterhouse (who wanted them all back afterwards so were being ethical too). Not only did we see all the structures of the lower leg and hoof, we actually found out why this particular horse had to be PTS. Bonny fitted around all of the students and their varying needs – horse owners, another E.P., a conservation site manager, and us as owners of a small group of semi-feral ponies. Top Marks Bonny!
